KLASSEN and DIZAYNVIP are opening a new chapter in their collaboration with the creation of the joint brand KLASSEN DIZAYNVIP. With many years of experience in crafting luxury automotive interiors, the two companies are bringing together their expertise, design approaches and engineering solutions to offer a new vision of private space on the road. The first two vehicles have already entered production, with their unveiling planned for late December 2026.
This partnership is founded on a shared understanding of comfort: a vehicle should reflect its owner's habits, create the right setting for personal conversation and make complex functions simple and intuitive to control. The new executive Mercedes-Benz V-Class will combine the classic aesthetics of a VIP lounge, four individual seats and personalised technologies already being developed by the project teams.
KLASSEN has been in business for more than 25 years. DIZAYNVIP also has around a quarter of a century of experience. During that time, each company has developed its own character, approach to cabin design and understanding of what a vehicle should offer clients with high expectations of comfort and individuality.
For Paul Klassen and DIZAYNVIP CEO Erbakan Malkoc, this collaboration also has a personal dimension. As Paul Klassen explains, both were born in 1977, the Year of the Snake in the Eastern calendar, and both celebrate their birthdays in August: Erbakan Malkoc on 1 August and Paul Klassen on 14 August. These coincidences bring a human warmth to the story of two entrepreneurs united by a passion for cars and a desire to create exceptional interiors.
The companies have worked together before. Today, that experience forms the basis of a closer partnership under the shared name KLASSEN DIZAYNVIP. Its purpose is to combine the strengths of both teams and channel them into a cohesive product. Their own developments, mutual respect and a shared vision of the future form the foundation of the new brand.
The new Mercedes-Benz V-Class is conceived as an executive business lounge where four passengers can converse, work and relax in comfort. Two pairs of individual seats face one another. This layout turns a journey into an extension of a personal meeting: passengers can maintain eye contact, discuss documents or spend time together in a private atmosphere.
The project builds on KLASSEN's experience in creating VIP vehicles and responds to a demand for a different use of space from the solutions in the MVV series. Centre and side consoles, tables, screens and storage areas work as a single system around the four passenger seats. The result is a VIP capsule in which everyone has their own comfortable seat and convenient access to everyday functions.
Classic design provides the aesthetic foundation for this vision. Light finishes, distinctive proportions of the furnishings, metal details and an analogue clock are combined with touch controls and future voice technologies. This is how KLASSEN DIZAYNVIP sees the car of the future: a personal space with lasting aesthetics and technologies that make it easier to use.
Ivory forms the cabin's base colour. It is used for the seats, centre armrests, side panels and window surrounds. The light surfaces create a visually calm environment, while the combination of smooth sections, perforated inserts and decorative stitching adds depth to the finish.
The sculpted quilting on the centre sections of the backrests is repeated on the door panels and lower sections of the side panels. This rhythm brings the seats and cabin architecture together in a cohesive composition. Dark piping outlines the seat cushions, backrests and leg rests, emphasising their shape.
Gloss-black inserts along the sides, around the large screen and on the console modules contrast with the light finishes. Metal edging, handles and controls lend definition to the details. Black carpeting with light edging completes the composition, while KLASSEN emblems highlight the origin of the design.
Each passenger seat features a contoured backrest, a soft seat cushion, an individual headrest and a three-point seat belt. Additional headrest cushions on one pair of seats provide softer support for the head when resting.
Electric adjustments allow passengers to tailor their seating position to their needs. Seat-shaped switches are located on the centre armrests, putting the settings within easy reach. Buttons marked “1”, “2”, “3” and “M” are used to save personal positions that can be recalled on subsequent journeys. Separate function buttons provide additional controls.
The extending leg rests have soft calf supports and additional sections for the feet. This allows passengers to change their posture according to the length and nature of the journey. During a conversation, a passenger can remain in their usual seated position, then use the extended leg support to relax.
Wide centre consoles with light finishes and softly padded upper surfaces complement each pair of seats. They provide arm support while bringing together the functions passengers need on the road.
iPad control is already part of the project's technological approach. The KLASSEN touch interface brings together settings for the seats, lighting, multimedia and other cabin functions. The tablet is positioned at a convenient angle, and graphical menus allow users to move between the sections they need.
The next step will be personalised voice control, which KLASSEN DIZAYNVIP is developing with the dtec_app team. The developers intend the system to recognise the owner's voice and respond only to their commands. The central idea is to link control to the individual: each client's voice is intended to become a means of interacting with the vehicle's functions. The technology is currently under development, and its integration is one of the new project's main priorities.
A wireless charging pad for a compatible smartphone is also integrated into the centre module. The opposite console combines two cup holders with metal rings, a softly padded upper section and a gloss-black module with a handle. Below it is a refrigerated compartment with interior lighting and a fold-down front door, making chilled drinks accessible directly from the passenger area.
Two individual tables are integrated into the side consoles. Their generous surfaces can accommodate a laptop, documents or a small serving of refreshments. The light tabletops, with a shallow recessed centre, a raised border and black edges, continue the interior's overall design.
After use, the tables stow away compactly, freeing up space in front of the seats. This allows the business lounge to adapt easily to different situations: a working journey, a conversation with partners or a rest with the leg rests extended.
A large screen is integrated into the front partition of the passenger area. Its gloss-black surround and symmetrical speaker grilles form a unified composition. For passengers facing the opposite direction, an additional fold-down ceiling monitor is provided at the rear of the cabin. This arrangement accommodates the face-to-face seating layout.
A Sony multimedia unit with a colour display and a physical rotary control is installed in the left-hand side console. It complements the touch interface with a separate way to control the audio. An analogue clock beneath the large screen, with a dark dial and metal surround, reinforces the cabin's classic character.
The large illuminated ceiling is divided into rectangular sections by longitudinal and transverse elements. The panels create soft, even lighting, while a continuous line of light around the perimeter emphasises the structure's geometry.
The combination of white and coloured lighting allows the atmosphere to be adjusted to the time of day and the passengers' preferences. Additional lighting zones beneath the side consoles, around the seat bases and on the pillars highlight individual interior elements. Local lights supplement the general illumination wherever it is needed for personal activities.
Two fold-down vanity mirrors with individual lighting are integrated into the ceiling modules. When closed, they sit flush with their housings. Before a meeting or leaving the vehicle, passengers can use a mirror without having to leave their seat.
Light fabric curtains with vertical folds are fitted to the side windows and rear window. They help regulate daylight and shield the cabin from outside view. The fabric colour is coordinated with the upholstery, preserving the interior's visual coherence even when the curtains are closed.
A separate ceiling-mounted climate control panel features a digital temperature display and fan settings. Adjustable air vents along the upper side areas allow airflow to be directed towards the passenger seats.
Open storage recesses, pockets, overhead shelves and enclosed compartments in the side consoles provide space for personal belongings. Additional drawers are located beneath the seats next to the partition. An integrated safe with a round electronic lock and a handle provides a separate place for valuables. A 12 V socket adds to the practical features, while KLASSEN-branded glasses complete the presentation of the centre and side cup holders.
The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Exclusive continues the executive character of the interior. The silver-white upper body, including the bonnet, roof and window surrounds, is paired with a gloss-black lower section. A fine double decorative line highlights the colour boundary along the sides and continues around the rear. Light-coloured mirror housings with integrated indicators complement the overall composition.
The front is defined by a large radiator grille with horizontal chrome slats, an LED light strip and a distinctive surround. An upright KLASSEN bonnet emblem emphasises the individual specification. The black bumper features silver and chrome accents, while its side inserts carry a repeating pattern of KLASSEN monograms. LED headlights complete the front lighting signature.
The 19-inch alloy wheels combine silver surfaces, black recesses and centre caps bearing the KLASSEN emblem. Chrome side sill trim and polished door handles accentuate the vehicle's silhouette. Tinted glazing in the passenger area enhances cabin privacy.
An AMG spoiler, vertical rear lights and KLASSEN and V-VIP lettering complement the rear. Brand emblems on the pillars provide further accents. Metallic paintwork and brand logo projection complete the individual styling, while electrically operated sliding doors and the electric EASY-PACK tailgate provide convenience when boarding and during everyday use.
