The KLASSEN-Bunker offers a whole host of configuration options, making it suitable for use in a wide range of different applications. In fact, this armoured vehicle can be used as a people carrier, delivery vehicle, cash carrier, troop transporter or even an ambulance. The KLASSEN-Bunker is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. We offer the vehicle in various protection levels, from a low protection class (VR4) through to the highest. The protection concept in all classes has a modular structure and is designed entirely as a bolted armoured version.

Protection class VPAM ERV2010 / STANAG 4569

Our armored vehicles are certified, among others, in compliance with VPAM ERV2010 and STANAG 4569. The testing procedures include the blasting of different types of hand grenades (DM51, HG85) on the vehicle roof and under the vehicle. In compliance with STANAG 4569 AEP-55 we also test protection against land mines of type AP DM31 and similar, and against 6-kg land mines. On request, we simulate the effects of a TNT or PETN car bomb blasting on the lateral sides of a vehicle. All tests are performed by state-approved proof houses (Beschussamt) or IABG, a German analysis and testing company.

CHASSIS/SUSPENSION AND BRAKES - Sprinter Armored

The reinforced chassis, suspension components and springs have been developed specifically for the KLASSEN-Bunker. They are optimally designed to suit the axle loads of this armoured vehicle. Even the braking system has been replaced with high-performance alternatives.

Our engineers have worked closely with the experts at a well-known German chassis manufacturer from the racing world to ensure safe and reliable driving dynamics at all times.

All five wheels (including the spare) feature an emergency running system from EUROPLAST-NYCAST GmbH. This run-flat feature means you can still drive 80 kilometres at a maximum speed of 80 km/h in the event of a puncture.

You and your guests can travel safely and in comfort thanks to a passenger compartment that we design to suit your individual needs. It goes without saying here that the interior, interior design, seating arrangements, comfort elements, multimedia and communication facilities are all freely configurable. The interior is made "Made in Germany". We offer also luxury conversions for other transport vehicles or other vehicle brands.
