Project Concept

The KLASSEN MVV VIP Business Van project is implemented on the basis of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class as part of a comprehensive individual conversion with extensive redesign of the interior and exterior. All components are executed as a unified engineering system, taking into account the W447 body architecture, safety requirements, electrical load, and passenger space ergonomics.

Interior Design

MAYBACH Seats and Rear Compartment

In the rear section of the cabin, two individual MAYBACH seats with memory function are installed. For their integration, a custom mounting structure was manufactured and adapted to the load-bearing floor structure. The fastening assemblies are designed to withstand operational loads and comply with current regulatory requirements.

Each seat is equipped with a three-point seat belt tested in accordance with legal requirements and EU standards. Operation is managed via a dedicated control unit, for which full programming of all electrical functions has been carried out.

The seats are fitted with a heating system, ventilation (when perforated leather is used), and a massage function provided the KRS system is installed. An electrically adjustable footrest with individual position control is included, along with a separate footrest cushion. Headrest cushions are also installed.

The rear seat design allows for individual manual adjustment to optimize the interior space. The upholstery of the seats and armrests is finished in premium-quality natural leather.

Central Module and Armrest

A MAYBACH armrest is installed between the seats, specifically developed for this configuration. The design provides precise alignment with the seat contours and integration of functional elements.

The module incorporates the original Mercedes-Benz Command Controller. It also includes a 220V power outlet, a USB data port, a USB charging port, an HDMI interface, and a main power switch. Electrical wiring is routed in a concealed manner, taking into account load distribution and circuit protection.

A MAYBACH table is integrated into the armrest structure, designed for use both while driving and when stationary.

KLASSEN Partition Wall

The VIP area is separated from the driver’s compartment by a proprietary KLASSEN partition with an integrated mechanism for raising and lowering the glass panel and the television. The design ensures an adjustable level of privacy and acoustic separation.

A folding seat with a headrest and a separately deployable seat cushion is integrated into the partition. The seat is equipped with a three-point seat belt. An electrically extendable room-temperature minibar system is also incorporated.

The minibar features glass holders, bottle holders, and a storage compartment. A signature KLASSEN clock is installed in the central section of the partition. The partition trim is executed in the overall interior style, using premium materials.

Ceiling Construction

A custom ceiling structure has been implemented, including a complete retrim of the headliner and pillars. The lighting is executed in the signature KLASSEN design, featuring integrated light elements. A MAYBACH vanity mirror is included as part of the configuration. Coat hooks and a garment rail are also installed where mounting provisions are available.

All electrical components within the ceiling are integrated with concealed cable routing and provision for service access.

Floor Construction

The floor system is executed in accordance with current legal regulations and EU requirements. The structure includes the fabrication of the floor base, installation of high-quality acoustic and thermal insulation, application of the main carpet covering in the VIP area, and additional flooring in the passenger compartment.

Side Panels

The side panels are individually manufactured for the VIP area, taking into account the body geometry. A wireless charging system and a glass holder are integrated into the side armrest. The trim is executed using natural wood and premium leather.

The sliding door opening mechanism is integrated into the partition structure. Single-layer manual curtains with a guide rail system are installed for the side and rear windows. An RGB ambient interior lighting system is implemented.

Multimedia System

A mobile media station is installed in the cabin to control the multimedia system of the VIP area. A 43-inch LED television is integrated into the partition. A DVB-T2 antenna is installed, with functionality to be verified in the destination country.

A 12V–220V voltage converter is installed to supply power to onboard devices. The audio system includes four two-way speakers in the passenger compartment and a subwoofer. An intercom system for internal communication with the driver is integrated. Provision is made for the installation of Apple TV.

Climate System

The original climate air ducts are retained in the VIP area, featuring color-adapted ventilation outlets. The climate control panel has been repositioned for passenger convenience.

Driver’s Area

The driver and front passenger seats may remain in the original 447 Nappa specification or be retrimmed in the VIP area style. The door handles and door panels have been redesigned and upholstered in leather. An original 447 leather steering wheel is installed. Carpet flooring is provided in the driver and front passenger areas.

A Dometic CoolFreeze CF12 refrigerator with a modified integration system is installed between the driver and front passenger seats.

Additional Systems

A Soft-Touch surface finish is applied within the VIP area. The production process includes all necessary consumable materials. Custom multimedia and electronic solutions can be implemented upon customer request.

The KLASSEN Remote System (KRS) seat control system is integrated in the form of an application for Apple iOS devices. Installation of Starlink Business and a Netgear Nighthawk M2 mobile LTE hotspot is available as an option.

Exterior Design

The exterior is based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class with individual stylistic enhancements.

The front section is equipped with a radiator grille featuring horizontal slats and an LED light strip. A standing Mercedes emblem is mounted on the hood. The vehicle is fitted with 19-inch Monobloc design alloy wheels.

A projection of the signature logo is implemented. The rear section features tinted glazing, including black glass in the passenger area. Electrically operated sliding doors and an EASY-PACK electric tailgate are provided.

An AMG spoiler lip is installed on the tailgate. The body is finished in metallic paint. The side sills are complemented by chrome trim elements.
